Chicago Greeter is a free service offered by the Chicago Office of Tourism for up to 6 guests. Greeter visits combine walking, buses and trains, and are the perfect orientation to Chicago’s safe and efficient public transit system. Register at least 10 days in advance.
InstaGreeter gives visitors the stellar Chicago Greeter experience without the need to pre-register! These hour-long guided walks of Downtown and seasonally, Millennium Park and Magnificent Mile, are perfect for the visitor with more flexible travel dates, someone whose schedule may not allow for a longer Chicago Greeter visit, or a last-minute guest who cannot register for a Greeter visit 10 business days in advance. no registration required. Walks leave on the half hour beginning at 10 am, last walk at 3pm from the Visitor Center in the Chicago Cultural Center.
