Freedom Learners Homeschool Co-op

For grades K-6th, we have parent-led, engaging and interactive classes that nurture both faith and academic growth. Plus, enjoy exciting field trips twice a month on Fridays!

We will meet 5-days a week, and have a similar schedule to a school. If one parent from your family can volunteer 1 day per week, the whole family will receive a 25% discount on their tuition. Parent involvement/volunteering is required, but we will have plenty of options for working moms and dads as well.

Once-a-month Activity Days. Activity Days are held 2nd Friday of the month (from 9 AM until 12:15 PM). Kindergarten through 12th graders are divided into 3 groups for 3 classes. Topics of these classes vary month-to-month, but include such classes as gym, art, music, science experiments, cooking, crafts, history, oceanography, geography, careers, etc.

We offer core classes as well as electives for an Elementary level as well as a Middle school/High school level.  We keep elementary classes flexible to accommodate each family’s curriculum choices. (Little to no homework.)

Christian co-op with classes offered for Pre-K – 10th Grade students in the south / southwest suburbs area. We meet for 10 Tuesdays each semester and offer 4 class selections for each age group.  Our main objectives are to provide interactive learning and project based classes to enhance the homeschool experience and also take some of the load off Mom/Dad! We ask families to choose at least 2 classes, but full day registration is not required. In addition to classes, we offer music lessons, a lunch period, field trips, service projects, and a great community to be part of! We are a drop-off co-op with minimal parent volunteer hours required.

Science Olympiad, Fox Homeschoolers
Meets in central Naperville in a commercial space (60540).  twice/month Sept-Apr.  Middle and High school level teams (ages 11-17). Science Olympiad is a national competitive program offering 23 events across 5 domains of science in a broad range of activities including traditional paper tests, building events, lab events and critical thinking/analysis events.  Generally no overlap with robotics.  Students dig into approx 3 topics (can be related) to dig into and compete roughly 4-6 times/year, once/month starting in December.
